Language 2023 Ohsweken IYCFF First Nation Grassroots Group Gaǫdadeihǫnyęnihagyeˀ (She is continually sharing her knowledge with them) Funded Amount: $30000 / Projects / IYCFF / Gaǫdadeihǫnyęnihagyeˀ (She is continually sharing her knowledge with them) Gaǫdadeihǫnyęnihagyeˀ engages youth to continue learning the Cayuga language under the tutelage of a proficient, second-language learner, also a youth. This Mentor-Apprentice style of learning will connect the group for 25 hours per week for 30 weeks speaking only Cayuga. By creating well-versed second language speakers, the life of the Cayuga language is enriched and upheld for generations to come.
